Within the Kunzareal Urban Renewal Program, the first building is the Swiss Army Assessment Center. The Center combines a Hotel, Hospital, Offices, Gymnastic Halls, Conference and Office facilities. The project reuses the former spinning mill building by cutting out 5000m3 of reinforced concrete and then recycles the gained material on site for use within the new project. The architectural design creates a rich spatial experience for the users inside and outside. The users experience the dimensions of building visually and physically measured by playful configuration of rectangular and cuboidal spaces.
